Solving the Increasing High Power Test Requirement

As the need for higher power test equipment increases in the lab, "just make it work” is no longer an option. Engineers are faced with tossing older, underpowered test equipment to the side and search for new solutions. Enter Chroma.

The test equipment and automated systems we provide today meet the high power demands of tomorrow’s power conversion industry. Newly innovated products as well as on or off grid devices can be simulated and tested under a wider range of power levels and conditions due to the advanced features we design into our equipment. Since our power test equipment is available in a wider range of power levels, increased power is achievable when requirements call for it. Let's say you're testing a PV inverter and need to build a micro-grid test environment, we can do the heavy lifting for you and ship regenerative grid simulator configurations from 120kVA to 300kVA. We also have high power configurations for electronic loads, AC power sources and DC power supplies.

Engineers turn to us to satisfy a wide range of R&D design validation, incoming inspection, end of line, and other types of tests that lead to satisfying critical regulatory standards. Whether it is budget, limited space, or unknown future power requirements, test engineers need flexibility with the equipment they purchase. Our flexible, scalable equipment accommodates their unique testing requirements making them extremely productive and efficient in the lab.
